BRIDAL PREP

Thank you for booking Makeup by Laura Pinzon for your big day! I am excited to be part of your wedding. Please read the following recommendations to get ready for your makeup application.

To ensure your skin looks its best for your wedding day, here are some important skincare tips:

1. Avoid harsh products: please refrain from using harsh skincare products, such as retinol, one (1) week before your wedding. These products can cause sensitivity and irritation, affecting the appearance of your skin and longevity of the makeup application.

2. Hydration is key: it’s crucial to keep your skin hydrated in the days leading up to your wedding. Moisturizing products will help ensure your skin is well-hydrated, providing the perfect canvas for flawless makeup application.

3. Consistent skincare routine: maintain a consistent skincare routine leading up to your wedding day. This includes cleansing, moisturizing, and applying sunscreen daily to keep your skin healthy and radiant.

4. Gentle exfoliation: gentle exfoliation is recommended 1-2 times per week to remove dead skin cells and reveal a fresh, glowing complexion. However, please avoid any harsh exfoliation treatments the week of your wedding to prevent irritation.

5. Facial timing: if you plan to get a facial, schedule it at least two (2) weeks prior to your wedding date. Some facials can be harsh and may cause irritation to the skin, so it’s best to give your skin time to recover.

6. Clean skin for makeup application: please ensure your skin is clean and free of any makeup or skincare products before your makeup application. I will provide all the necessary products for the makeup application process.

7. Avoid SPF: avoid using products containing SPF on the day of your wedding, as they can cause flashback in photography.

8. Provide skin details: please email me at hello@makeupbylaurapinzon.com with details about your skin type, any allergies you may have, and inspiration photos of your desired makeup look. Feel free to send multiple photos, focusing on different aspects like complexion, eyes, or lashes. Make sure the model in the photos has a similar skin tone and features to yours. Please send a photo of you as well. By following these skincare tips, you can ensure your skin looks radiant and flawless on your wedding day. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
